LEADERSHIP TEAM

JAE HO

Jae Ho is the Founding Principal of Ancora Group Holdings. He serves as President and Management Committee Member of the firm, where he provides strategic leadership and guidance for the company's investment activities. He oversees the acquisition team, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment objectives. His responsibilities also encompass financial oversight, operational efficiency, and the development of effective marketing strategies across the portfolio.

Prior to founding Ancora, Jae spent over 12 years as Principal at Barker Pacific Group, leading their self-storage acquisition and investment strategy. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Union Development Company, gaining extensive experience in real estate acquisition and management. Jae received his B.A. in Economics from UC Irvine.

BRYAN YOO

Bryan Yoo serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Ancora Group Holdings, contributing his expertise to the firm's investment strategies. He plays a key role in sourcing and evaluating potential investments, as well as optimizing the performance of existing assets within the portfolio.

Prior to joining Ancora, Bryan held progressively senior positions at Barker Pacific Group, Archbell Capital, and IBM, showcasing his capabilities across diverse sectors. Bryan received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and B.S./B.A. in Accounting/Economics from the University of Maryland.

KENNY LI

Kenny Lis serves as Chief Administrative Officer at Ancora Group Holdings, where he is responsible for day-to-day operations. In addition, his responsibilities as Director of Investments for LNG Management include portfolio asset allocation, sourcing and underwriting direct deals, and manager due diligence. He is also acting Chief Financial Officer for operating companies within the portfolio.

Kenny is a CFA® charterholder and received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. He holds a B.S. in Finance from St. John’s University.

MICHAEL BARKER

Michael Barker is a co-founder of Ancora Group Holdings and serves as a Management Committee member. He is the founder of Barker Pacific Group. Since founding Barker Pacific Group in 1983, Michael Barker has directed the development of more than $3.5 billion in commercial projects. His active focus is the acquisition, development, and management of pre-leased residential and commercial projects.

Since 1973, Barker has overseen the development of major projects in such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Phoenix, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.

Before starting Barker Pacific Group in 1983, Barker was an officer at Hines Interests, where he headed up development of more than four million square feet of office space in Tulsa, Houston, and San Antonio. In 1970, he also co-founded the asset management firm First Houston Trust Company. From 1968 to 1970, he served as a lending officer in the Energy Department of Citibank, New York.

Barker has served as Chairman of the Board for the John Tracy Center, which serves hearing-impaired children, and he an active member of the Urban Land Institute and Lambda Alpha International.

Barker holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University.

LAWRENCE NG

Lawrence Ng is a co-founder of Ancora Group Holdings and serves as a Management Committee member. He is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and currently leads Onramplab.

Lawrence is the CEO and founder of LNG Management, an asset management firm with investments across global opportunities in technology, venture capital, commercial real estate, and private/public markets. He is also a member of the Compound VC Advisory Board, which helps entrepreneurs accelerate new business opportunities, and is a Senior Advisor to Alignment Credit, a strategic private credit fund.

From 2008 to 2015, Lawrence served as Chairman of the Board of Oversee.net, a company he co-founded in 2000 at the age of 21 and led as its Chief Executive Officer until 2008. He grew Oversee from an Internet start-up to a leader in internet services with over $200 million in revenue and 200 employees.

Lawrence won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 award for the Greater Los Angeles program in the technology category.

Lawrence is a member of the Board of Trustees of the John V. Lindsay Wildcat Academy Charter School, an alternative high school which enables students who have dropped out of traditional high schools to obtain a high school diploma, and also a proud supporter of the Joshua House Health Center, a new three-story community health clinic in the heart of Skid Row in Los Angeles.

He is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.
